Energy Between Us
Connection is energy,
Brené Brown says— felt
when we are seen, heard, valued.

It doesn’t have to be loud. It
doesn’t have to be now. You can
recall it in a hard season, like
the story she told in the winter
of your childhood.
You can wear it like a shawl when
the world is unkind. Her voice is still
with you. That’s how you know:
the story is real.
