One tells of a grandfather’s hands,
Another of a childhood storm.
Laughter, sorrow, silence,
woven in turn.
And when it’s done—
the circle hushed—
something new has formed.
Not consensus.
Not answers.
But a cloth we made together:
the shared warmth
of being known.
